Dear Friends: 

It is a great pleasure for me to have this opportunity to extend my warmest greetings to all those distinguished guests who are attending the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference 2017 in the beautiful city of San Francisco. This conference is notable for its exclusive focus on wireless research, technology, and applications. It serves as a forum for leaders from industry, academia, government agencies, and other institutions to exchange ideas about current and future trends and innovations in the wireless industry. It features workshops, tutorials, keynote speakers, panel discussions, etc. 

It is great to hear that this year's conference is co-chaired by two distinguished females, Katie Wilson and Andrea Goldsmith. I would also like to welcome this year's esteemed keynote speakers, John Cioffi, Gerhard Fettweis, and Chih-Lin I. 

As a United States Senator representing the people of California, I commend all participants for their contributions to the thriving world of wireless technology. I send you all my best wishes for a wonderful conference and continued success and innovation in the years to come!
